Programming Workshop 2 on Thrusday

Attention programmers: we will be having a second programming workshop this Thursday, after school. Please bring a laptop with MPlab IDE, the C18 linker, and IFI loader installed. In this workshop, I'll walk you through adapting our basic code to a robot (fluffy), and then actually loading the code onto the bot.

Kickoff!!!

IMPORTANT TIME CHANGE: Please disregard my previous email and, arrive at 6AM

The Kickoff will soon be upon us. If you don't know what the Kickoff is, a brief description: Robotics teams from around the region show up to Oregon City High School early in the morning. A live webcast is broadcast from NASA that shows the teams what challenges they will be building a robot for over the next 6 weeks. Yelling ensues. Then we get all the parts which we will be using to build the robot. Then we brainstorm. The End!

This year, the kickoff is on Saturday, January 9th, from 9-12. I highly advise you to attend this event, as it's always interesting, entertaining, and you get to find out about the 2010 challenge.

Google Calendar Users Take Note!

If you don't have Google Calendar, it's a very good idea to bookmark that site (there's a link to it in the sidebar over there → too.)
